Vartdal Plastics Industry AS has long experience in the manufacture of products based on expandable polystyrene (EPS) and currently has several full-owned and partly owned modern factories along the Norwegian coast.

Vartdal Plastic Industries AS was founded by Jan Vartdal in 1961 and was the first company in the world that produced fish containers of expandable polystyrene (EPS).
