KONGSBERG (Public, OSL:KOG) is an international, knowledge-based group with more than 5200 employees in some 25 countries. KONGSBERG supplies high-technology systems and solutions to customers engaged in the oil and gas industry, the merchant marine, and the defence and aerospace industries.

The Group implemented organisational changes on 1 January 2009. The main change is that the two former business areas were divided into four business areas. -Kongsberg Maritime -Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies -Kongsberg Defence Systems -Kongsberg Protech Systems The Company has a number of subsidiaries, including Gallium, GeoAcoustics, GlobalSim, Hydroid, Konsberg Seatex, Konsberg Mesotech, Seaflex and Simrad, among others.
