Industrial Serrana was founded in the year 1963 as an agroindustrial company in the Lavalleja, Uruguay town of Solís de Mataojo. Afterwards it turned exclusively to the processing of sea products.

Nowadays, Serrana products are recognized by their quality in the most demanding international markets, which include: UE, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, China, Taiwan, Israel, Palestina, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote d´Ivoire.
