Salmon is Chile's second export product after copper, and in the world, Chile has managed to position itself as the second largest producer of salmon, exporting approximately 25% of the salmon consumed in the world. From the Salmon Council we work to promote the competitive and sustainable development of the salmon production chain in order to consolidate its contribution to the development of the southern regions and the country as a whole, and contribute to better meet the demands of millions of people in the world.

The Salmon Council is a trade union organization whose objective is to unite the efforts of associated companies to promote the development of a competitive and sustainable production chain, with quality jobs based on productivity, maintaining and promoting business integrity, good production practices, environmental and labor, with innovation and high standards in caring for the environment.
