Whooshh Innovations™ is revolutionizing fish passage and seafood processing through our proprietary, proven technology—moving fish Safe, Timely, Efficiently & Effectively.
The Company was launched in 2008 in Bellevue, Washington, with the goal of improving the harvest of highly perishable agricultural products such as tree fruit. Recognizing the need to apply the same technology to help move fish gently over obstacles and barriers, the Company soon began testing its technology on live fish.
The initial success led our researchers to explore the use of the Whooshh technology to move fish over dams—as well as in processing plants where hygiene is critical. Whooshh systems are now deployed in Norway and in various settings throughout the United States.
