Establishing a new aquaculture company in 2020 within a new industry is very demanding. In a short time, the company has gained important expertise with determination and perseverance to create a viable business. Many come from the salmon industry with great aquaculture understanding and experience, but also from other industries. Together, these people form the core of the KIME team, which we hope will grow in the future.

Although existing owners are contributing significantly to the issue, it is also very exciting that Nergård AS, as one of the largest players in cod, is entering the ownership side with a large stake. This will provide KIME Akva with additional networks and opportunities for synergies towards landing and market.
