Mr. Galiher founded Preferred Freezer Services, LLC in November of 1989. Together with a select group of investment partners, Mr. Galiher directed the acquisition of Preferred's warehouse and transportation business, a family-owned regional operation with sales of $2.5 million. Mr. Galiher has been the driving force of our growth and corporate identity, since our inception, in 1989. His unique blend of experience in engineering, construction, sales and management has been key to the company’s success.
As President and CEO, Mr. Galiher is responsible for the company's growth, fiscal planning, market strategy, technical development and banking/financing relationships. Today, he has augmented the organizational chart to include a fully-integrated staff of executives to manage growing operations and expanding business opportunities.
Past employment experiences include sales, engineering and project execution for one of North America’s largest industrial refrigeration companies owned by the public company Toromont Industries. Prior to starting Preferred, Mr. Galiher was executive Vice President and Co-founder of Condyne Freezers, Inc. and was a member of the Board of Condyne, Inc.
Mr. Galiher has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southeastern Massachusetts University and numerous continuing education credentials relating to refrigerated specific technologies. He has received several awards for outstanding business achievements, been the subject of several industry articles relating to "state-of-the-art" technology and is an active member in both the National Fisheries Institute and International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses. |
