We welcome Norway�s Prime Minister Solberg along with a group of high level dignitaries and industry captains

The 14th NASF will commence March 5th in Bergen for 3 days. We expect a great turnout with delegates attending from more than 30 countries, to join the world�s biggest executive business arena for the seafood industry.

The NASF opening session will feature Policy Makers addressing important issues related to world trade, oceans and climate change along with key industry captains.

We are proud to welcome Norway�s Prime Minister Erna Solberg who will give the opening conference address. She will be followed by the Iceland Fisheries Minister Kristjan ��r J�l�usson and UN Envoy for Ocean�s Peter Thomson.

Thereafter FAO Director General Arni Mathiesen will give the FAO outlook for world seafood trade.

Four prominent industry captains will give �the View from the Bridge� and share their visions for the future. These are Ole Arve Misund, CEO of Norway�s Polar Institute, Norway�s Arne M�gster, CEO of Austevoll Seafood, Iceland�s Gudmundur Kristjansson, CEO and owner of HP Grandi and BRIM; and John Connelly, President, for the US National Fisheries Institute.

Finally; two prominent and well known players from the sustainability field will share their insights into the status and outlook for this vital challenge for the industry, under the banner: "The importance of sustainability as drivers for growth�. Rupert Howes, CEO of UK�s Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) will share his vision for maintaining a sustainable world fisheries industry. Thereafter; George Chamberlain, President of the US Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) will address his visions for � developing a sustainable world aquaculture expansion.

The NASF 2019 conference will continue to focus on world seafood trade and market access � highlighting the ever-increasing importance of the seafood industry in world food trade.
