Stephen Monismith is a member of the Management Committee at the Center for Ocean Solutions (COS) and serves as the Center’s Interim Science Director. As Chair of Stanford University’s Civil and Environmental Engineering, Professor Monismith's research and teaching in environmental and geophysical fluid dynamics involves the application of fluid mechanics principles to the analysis of flow processes operating in lakes, estuaries and the oceans.
