With the 21^st century almost upon us now, the biggest cost will come from labour and feed in producing abalone products. In the last tow farms we have built technology has been the key in reducing the cost of labour and receiving better returns. We have also been able to increase the growth rates and allow our staff to work a normal 40 hour week. Filters, temperature control, waterflows, O₂, pumps etc. are all controlled and kept at the right operating parameters so we can maximise the growth rates in abalone.
