Currently a group of abalone businesses are organising a Marketing & Trade show for about September 99 in Osaka Japan.

The point of this is to get producers and buyers together so better pricing, quality and service can be maintained. An official release of information will be available in February 98.

The 3rd International Symposium on abalone in Monterey USA was very successful with about 270 delagates attending from 10 countries. There will be a page (book) produced in the coming year and we will keep you informed on this. The 4th International Symposium on abalone will be in South Africa.
