Seifur Ltd. is Iceland's single-largest independent seafood exporter with sales of no less than 10,000 tons worth USD35 million last year. The company specialises in fresh, salted and frozen fish.

For the past 25 years, Seifur Ltd. has been one of the major exporters of frozen seafood from Iceland. We can offer our customers all over the world regular supplies of a full range of top-quality sea-and land-frozen products, from the freezing vessels and land-based freezing plants which we represent. We deliver our contracted commodities on time, arrange transport and take care of the product to our customers' doorstep.

Ever since the export of salted fish was deregulated in January 1992, Seifur Ltd. has been a leading firm in this area. Seifur works in close contact with several saltfish producers, and has holdings in others. All products are submitted to comprehensive quality control to ensure constant standards. We offer a wide variety of salted products processed from fresh fish of the highest quality Iceland has to offer. The fish is mostly medium-cured, which means it is between 15 and 20 days old. To compensate for diminishing weight, all our products are packed with a 4% overweight. If desired we can also provide defrosted fish and fish of other origin than Icelandic.
