The Chilean government signed a cooperation protocol in the field of business-food distribution of the fishing sector with a delegation from Mercasa-Spain, who is visiting Chile.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism, Pablo Longueira Montes; and the head of the Undersecretariat of Fisheries (Subpesca), Pablo Galilea; with Mercasa President, Eduardo Ameijide y Montenegro.
The Spanish group will travel around the main fish and shellfish sale centres in the Metropolitan Region, Valparaíso, Maule and Los Lagos until 19 May in order to analyse their strengths and weaknesses.
