Premier fishing (Pty) Ltd. is part of the Premier Foods Group in South Africa. The groups fishing interests have spread to Nambia and Chile. In South Africa we have people, factories and vessels at seven locations.
The company is involved in the pelagic, demersal, squid, and inshore fishing craft. It has cold storage holding capacity of 3000 tons and about 45 tons of live lobster holding capacity in temperature controlled and purpose -built holding tanks.
All Premier Fishing's factories operate to the most stringent hygienic and quality standards as laid down by the South African Bureau of Standards.

The factories, wich produce for export, are HACCP approved.
Premier Fishing is a pacesseter in the industry with regards it's share participation scheme, with the employees owninga 20% stake in the South Africa operation.
The core business of Premier Fishing is catching, processing and marketing fish and other marine products.

We are the market leaders in South Africa with our unique Fish Spread range under the Peck's Anchovette and Redro labels. We also market an Organic Fertiliser made from a fish emulsion under the Saegro label, wich is exported worldwide.

Squid -The majority of this product is exported to Italy and the remainder to the rest of Europe.
West Coast Rock Lobster: This product is exported Live and Whole Cooked, and is known as a highly acclaimed delicacy.
South Coast Rock Lobster: This lobster is characterised by a lighter colour and generous tail to body proportions, and is a market leader in the USA; with growing popularity in Europe and the Far East. It is exported in the Live and Tail form.
