The port is ideally situated not only for landing fish from the nearby sector VII area but also for overland transportation via the easily accessible motorway network from all major ports of the UK (10 miles from the M55, 19 miles from the M6). Once processed, orders can be dispatched to wherever a customer requires throughout the UK and Europe. There are direct ferries twice daily to and from Northern Ireland and a groupage refridgerated container service available between Larne and Fleetwood.
