The Minister of Production, Jorge Luis Prado Palomino, reported that by 2023 his sector will allocate S / 104.2 million for the modernization of artisanal fishing infrastructures at the national level.
During his presentation before the Commission for Production, Micro and Small Enterprises and Cooperatives of Congress, the head of Produce stressed that this will benefit 36,481 artisanal fishermen.
In the group there are projects to be concluded such as the Artisanal Fishing Landing (DPA) Puerto Morín, DPA Huacho, DPA Supe and DPA Huarmey; in addition to works that will start such as: DPA La Cruz, DPA Pacasmayo, DPA La Planchada, DPA Conchitas, DPA Faro Matarani and DPA Chancay.
In the same way, the technical files of the DPA San Andrés, El Dorado Artisanal Fishing Dock, DPA Lomas, DPA Salaverry, DPA Malabrigo and DPA Cerro Azul will be concluded.
Trade promotion
As part of the commercial promotion activities, Minister Prado Palomino indicated that this year 5 Virtual Business Roundtables and 9 Face-to-face Business Roundtables will be held nationwide.
"The negotiation expectations are for S / 15 million (virtual fairs) and S / 20 million (face-to-face fairs), in total we will summon 700 mypes", he stressed.

On the other hand, he specified that in the coming months there will be 8 Unstoppable Peru Fairs in Ancash, Lambayeque, Pasco, Ucayali, Puno, Arequipa, Tumbes and Piura, with projected sales of S / 1.6 million.
