Global marine ingredients leaders to convene in the Spanish capital for three days of dialogue, insight, and collaboration

Madrid – IFFO – The Marine Ingredients Organisation has confirmed that its flagship 2026 Members’ Meeting will take place from 27–29 April 2026 in Madrid, marking the second consecutive year the Spanish capital hosts this key international industry event.

The annual meeting will once again bring together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders from across the global marine ingredients value chain to explore the most pressing issues shaping the sector. Discussions will focus on market trends, sustainability challenges, innovation, regulatory developments, and global supply dynamics.

“Bringing the Members’ Meeting back to Madrid reflects the overwhelmingly positive feedback from last year’s event and underlines the city’s strategic role as a hub for our global community,” said Petter Martin Johannessen, IFFO Director General. “In 2026, we will again gather industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge, address shared challenges, and explore the future of marine ingredients with a forward-looking mindset.”

A comprehensive three-day programme

Delegates can expect a high-level, three-day agenda designed to encourage both learning and collaboration, including:

• Expert presentations from 18 speakers representing the full marine ingredients value chain

• In-depth insights into fisheries management, sustainability frameworks, market outlooks, regulations, and technological innovation

• Two side-events, taking place on 27 and 28 April, organised in partnership with the Global Seafood Alliance and MarinTrust

• Dedicated networking spaces to foster meaningful connections across the industry
