2021 is a benchmark year for PERUZA in Parcels and warehousing industry.
Peruza Leads the Way in Warehouse Automation & Parcel Handling
(LATVIA, 10/4/2021)
With the rise of e-commerce and rapidly changing consumer habits, the growth of warehouse automation is happening at a rapid pace.
Over the last two years, global parcel volumes have increased by nearly 50%, and many forecasters predict that this trend will continue for many years to come, meaning that logistics and handling companies are constantly on the lookout for new methods of seamless packing, processing and delivery.
Innovations in Automation
Peruza, a Latvian fish plant machinery company with over 30 years of experience, knows a thing or two about automation — their range of fish sorting, cutting and packing machines are already revolutionizing the fish processing industry, allowing factories to operate more efficiently with lower levels of staff.
Recently, the Baltic company has turned its attention towards warehouse and parcel handling automation, delivering turnkey solutions to companies who distribute large quantities of products from logistics centers and warehouses.
Far from being a simple line of mechanical sorting and packaging machines, the Peruza.com warehouse sorting systems rely heavily on robotics to prepare, package and palletize products in a fast and delicate manner.
The parcel handling machines are able to interact with a huge range of products, from delicate items like glass bottles, through to large boxes and thermoform packages.
The secret to the robotic parcel handling system’s wide range of applications is the unique scanning module, that can be adjusted for specific products or even calibrated to scan packaging for barcodes, allowing the on-board AI to separate and pack almost any sized or shaped item.
PERUZA Automatic parcel sorting line is designed to automatically account for every parcel incoming into warehouse. Trace every parcel from truck to warehouse shelf and from shelf to delivery truck.
End to End Packing Systems
Once products are identified by the scanner, a robotic arm is able to neatly stack and position them on pallets, after which they are taken further down the production line by conveyors, ready to be automatically wrapped and prepared for transportation.
Peruza’s system revolutionizes the sorting process in warehouse operations, and is able to be monitored and operated by a single employee, moving up to 15 large boxes per minute, ready for distribution and shipping.
PERUZA Robot Palletizer is designed as high capacity various product palletizing.PERUZA has engineered and developed line for high productivity paletising operations. Efficient design enables line to process simultaniously multiple package sizes without readjusting line.
Quality Control and other Unique Applications
Peruza’s robotic warehouse sorting systems can be equipped for quality inspection of incoming products as well as packing and stacking duties, and can even identify plastic or cardboard separator sheets to ensure products are correctly wrapped for delivery.
The AI behind Peruza’s scanning machinery has also opened up several other interesting applications, one of which is robotic waste sorting, where the system can recognize new types of packaging and separate it not only by barcode, but also by other features such as shape, weight and material — highlighting the high degree of precision this robotic system is able to achieve.
