Conarpesa's main activity is the capture and processing of live sea products using its own boats and plants on land.

The company was incorporated in Argentina in 1977, starting its activities in 1979 with 3 shrimp vessels. Conarpesa currently has 6 onshore processing plants located at strategic points in Argentine Patagonia, operates with a fleet of 25 ships, 3 more under construction and 25 contracted.

Employing more than 2,400 people in a dependent relationship, and many more indirectly.

10/11/2022 - Wofco buys 45% of the Conarpesa Group

 

Conarpesa, which operates a fleet of twenty-two pole, coastal and deep-sea fishing vessels and owns four processing plants in Patagonia, since last week has become part of Wofco, a company dedicated to fishing, processing and initially marketing of seafood, which was founded in Cangas in 2016 and later moved its headquarters to Vigo for logistical reasons. The firm was created by Alberto Barreiro and Borja Tenorio, but they soon strategically added partners that allowed it surprising growth.
