Although COFIMAR dates only from a few years back, its staff and management have pioneered the seafood business for more than four decades, both in production and export of shrimp and fish. We are currently trading our products in many countries, and our goal is to become the most successful company in the seafood industry.
Our group owns more than 1500 hectares of shrimp production farms that have been certified by the National Fisheries Institute. Likewise, all the shrimp larvae which serve as the seed to stock our farms are produced in hatcheries that are currently under organic standards to guarantee the quality and trustworthiness of our shrimp from its initial stages until they reach our end customers. With this in mind, COFIMAR has planned for an international expansion program with its own production.
COFIMAR has a policy of continuous revision and improvement of its operations to maintain its progress and development annually.
