The Company’s subsidiaries in New Zealand include Sanford Investments Limited (wholly owned), an investment company; Auckland Fish Market Limited (wholly owned), an auction and seafood school company, and Auckland Fishing Port Limited (66.66% owned), a wharf company.
Sanford owns and operates a diverse fleet of vessels for inshore, purse seine and deepwater fishing including vessels for freezing and processing at sea.
Its wholly owned subsidiaries in Australia include Sanford Australia Pty Limited and Ocean Fresh Fisheries Pty Limited, both of which are engaged in fish catching and processing.
Sanford are New Zealand’s largest integrated fishing and aquaculture business, operating 47 vessels and 210 aquaculture farms. We constantly strive to improve our operating processes to preserve and enhance the quality of our seafood and protect our pristine resource.
Sanford diverse operation includes five processing sites in New Zealand, 210 aquaculture farms and two salmon hatcheries. It is here at these sites that our seafood is carefully harvested, prepared and packaged, ready to be eaten and enjoyed by people all around the world.
