Prodesur S.A. is an Argentine fishing company that operates since 1991 from the port of the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina.
It is the owner of the factory trawler TAI AN, National register number 01530. TAI AN is the only vessel in South America dedicated to the Surimi production on board. To do this, it catches and processes on board Southern Blue Whiting and Hoki species in a state of the art factory, with highly trained fishing crew and surimi technicians with more than 25 years of experience in the market. The quality of the surimi produced on board TAI AN is recognized as one of the best in the world.
Likewise, the vessel captures and processes as HGT species such as Patagonian Toothfish, Hoki, Southern Hake, King Clip, Silver Warehou and Grenadier, among others. To complete the full utilization of 100% of the fishing resources caught, the vessel produces Fish Meal, highly demand.
