Founded in 1941 by the Dulcich Family, Pacific Seafood is a family-owned and operated company dedicated to providing the healthiest protein on the planet. Pacific Seafood manages all parts of the supply chain from harvesting/fishing to processing, and distribution in order to provide customers with fresh, sustainable, high-quality products. Pacific Seafood Group is headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon. We employ more than 3,000 team members across 41 facilities in 11 states.
One of our missions is to provide products to meet all of our customers’ center of the plate protein needs including seafood, beef, pork, and poultry. Some of our most popular items include oysters, Dungeness crab, rockfish, coldwater shrimp, wild salmon, and steelhead.
When it comes to food safety, we know that not only is our reputation on the line but that of our customers as well. Our commitment is to provide the healthiest protein on the planet, and that starts with ensuring everything we provide is safe to eat.
From our in-house labs, portside inspections, and comprehensive product and process quality assurance, including QA evaluations every two hours, we meet and surpass state and federal industry standards. Many of our facilities are Safe Quality Food (SQF) and/or British Retail Consortium (BRC) certified which requires more stringent standards than the FDA’s Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. We have 11 GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) certified facilities that have to adhere to a rigorous, scientifically based method that recognizes competent food safety certification programs.
Today Pacific Seafood offers 34 MSC-certified species and 20 MSC-certified sustainable facilities, plus our BAP-certified steelhead farm and being the first and ONLY company in the world to off BAP Four-Star certified . We recently became the first and only company to offer BAP four-star certified oysters in the world which has generated an incredible response from our customers and consumers.
