Danish Fishermen is an organisation for all Danish fishermen. Membership is available for ship owners as well as employed fishermen. Danish Fishermen was established in 1994 when the two former fishermen’s organisations “Danmarks Havfiskeriforening” og “Dansk Fiskeriforening” merged.
It is the nationwide organisation for about 50 local fishermen’s organisations. The main object of the association is to manage the interests of the fishermen in any place where fishing is on the agenda – no matter if it is on a local, national or international level.
