The National Chamber of Fisheries and Aquaculture Industries is the Business Representative Body that groups together the Private Fishing Sector in Mexico.
The main function of CANAINPESCA is to act as Spokesperson and Defender of the general interests of the national fishing activity.
The chamber is made up of all those natural or legal persons who in the Mexican Republic are engaged in fishing activities, be it extraction, cultivation or capture. Those that carry out previous acts that have the direct purpose of fishing and subsequent acts, including the transformation of the species extracted or captured, are also contemplated.
CANAINPESCA operates since 1949 with the sole purpose of contributing to the sustainable development of the national private fishing sector.
