Friosur is one of the main Chilean seafood producers for human consumption Friosur is one of the main Chilean companies of food production in the area of fish for human consumption. It began its operations more than 15 years ago as part of the DERSA group, a recognized and well-established Chilean economic group.

In 1992, Friosur formed a partnership with Grandi HF, a well known Icelandic fishing company and a leader in the industry. Additionally, Friosur has developed strategic alliances with other world known companies such as Nippon Suisan (Japan) and Sealord (New Zealand).
