The company was established in 2018 and aims to establish sales of Wilsgård salmon locally. We want everyone in our immediate area to be able to buy Wilsgård salmon in the convenience store. Wilsgård Sales will also look at the possibility of an establishment in Spain. The reason why Spain is interested in Wilsgård is the story of Joe Basker (Josè from the Basque Country) who, during a shipwreck, ended up in Sandsvika and became part of our origins.

The reason why Spain is particularly interesting for Wilsgård is our story where a Spanish boat sunk in Sandvika on outer Senja. Wilsgård has Spanish blood in the veins – so maybe we should take the salmon home?
