The history of the Lenin fishing collective farm begins in 1929, when three artels were formed on the coast of Avacha Bay. They became the source of today's Order of Friendship of Peoples of the fishing collective farm Lenin.

For 80 years, the enterprise, bypassing all stages of economic and political changes, has grown into the largest fishing collective farm, having managed to preserve its name, remain faithful to good traditions, which, in combination with a rational management policy, increased production capacity and the fishing fleet.
