We are a big business, but wherever we have offices, we are still one team with one purpose: creating value for money to earn our customers’ lifetime loyalty. We have nine sourcing offices around the global where our people work hard to ensure that Tesco sources products responsibility for our customer.
Sourcing products from over 40 countries and working with suppliers who share our values, we are delivering a wide range of safe, responsibly sourced, quality products at the right price for our customers.
By sourcing products directly from manufacturers we have greater visibility and knowledge of the factories that make the products we sell. We have a regular program of audits to ensure factories can make the products our customers want to the standards that we expect. We have technical teams based in each country with local knowledge, which means that we can respond more quickly on those rare occasions when problems are discovered in the supply chain. Being able to visit factories regularly means we are able to establish close relationships with our suppliers so we can work together to continuously improve product quality and working practices.
Partnership
We need successful suppliers and farmers with whom we can work in partnership.
