In 1961, Sepp Haggenmüller made the first Multivac chamber machine in his garage. In 1967, Multivac produced its first thermoform packaging machine. Then in the mid-90’s debuted with the first traysealer.
Today Multivac commissions over 1,100 industrial thermoformers and traysealers as well as over 3,200 chamber machines a year – in over 100 countries worldwide. To meet this enormous volume of orders, Multivac currently has over 2500 staff, covering every continent. More than 60 subsidiaries, rep. and sales offices on all continents provide an extensive service and sales network.
