The Grieg Group has its beginnings in a long and proud maritime tradition. Today, the Group operates globally within a variety of business areas; shipping, port operations, shipbroking, maritime information systems, investment consulting and fish farming. The Grieg Group has about 1700 employees.

Grieg Group is a shipping and investment corporation based in Bergen, Norway. Its main activities include ship operation, ship brokering and logistics as well as partial ownership of Grieg Seafood, Star Shipping and Aon Grieg.

Twenty-five percent of the company is owned by the Grieg Foundation. The foundation's primary purpose is to support SOS Children Villages.
