McDonald’s launches Hokkaido salmon burger
(SINGAPORE, 5/4/2018)
A new variety of burger has been launched by McDonald’s made with salmon sourced from Hokkaido prefecture, in Japan.
The Japanese-inspired burger was created in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the naming of Hokkaido city.
The new product features a crispy Hokkaido salmon patty, stuffed with shredded white cabbage and topped with roasted sesame mayonnaise between a toasted black and white sesame.
The new burger is priced at USD 7.70 a la carte or top up another USD 2 to make it an Extra Value Meal that comes with fries and a drink.
Along with the new Hokkaido Salmon Burger, the much-loved Seaweed Shaker Fries will be returning as well.
Starting this Wednesday, the Hokkaido Salmon Burger and Seaweed Shaker Fries are available after breakfast hours at all McDonald’s restaurants islandwide as well as from McDelivery.
