Greg Duppler joined Target in 1982 as an Assistant Buyer/Distributor. He held various buying positions in merchandising until he was promoted to Director of Merchandise Presentation in 1991 and Vice President in 1995. In 1998 he was promoted to Vice President/Merchandising of Toys and Seasonal Products.
Greg was promoted to Vice President, General Merchandise Manager for SuperTarget in 1999 to lead the expansion of the SuperTarget concept. He was promoted to Sr Vice President, Merchandising Supertarget in 2000 and Sr Vice President of Grocery in 2003.
Greg serves on the Board of Trustees for the College of St Benedict in St Joseph, Minnesota where he chairs the Marketing and Enrollment committee and is on the Executive Committee. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Brand and Product Management at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Greg is the executive sponsor for the Target Volunteers Program and is the executive sponsor for the Meals on Wheels program in Minneapolis. He is a volunteer for the Loaves and Fishes program in North Minneapolis.
Greg received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the UW Madison with a major in Marketing and Management. He is a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota where he lives with his wife. They have a daughter in graduate school and a son in college. |
