Labeyrie Traiteur Surgelés develops and produces a wide range of high-end products for the frozen market. Its know-how ranges from appetisers to desserts, salmon parcels, foie gras macaroons, aperitif corollas and sweet tarts, as well as gourmet pies and other flaky-pastry preparations. The Business Unit manufactures and markets the entire Labeyrie product range, from appetisers to desserts present in the frozen food aisle, the range of sweet frozen desserts “Labeyrie - A Lenôtre recipe”, as well as a range of small delicacies found in the bakery-cakes aisle. Labeyrie Traiteur Surgelés also sells a range of exotic appetiser morsels, under the Blini brand, in the frozen food aisle. The Business Unit develops and produces, according to specific specifications, products for specialised networks and large supermarkets’ private labels.
The agreed purchase price, which is based on LTS approximate value of JPY 2.7 billion (USD 21 million), includes the payment for the entire LTS share and the loans that LFF has for LTS, and which will be fixed after AFE adquires all the LTS shares, scheduled for November 2017.
