In 1971, the pioneer Per Tombre started what has developed into an interesting journey within aquaculture. With 500 rainbow trout in Skogseidvatnet, the whole thing has formed into a large group which now aims to be the preferred supplier of food fish.
Since the 1980s, the group has been led by Per's son, Håkon Tombre. From here, the company has expanded from Hålandsdalen to have active operations in Bjørnafjorden, Hardanger, Samnanger, Osterøy, Fedje and Sogn.
We are a family-owned business with cherished values. We want to be seen as honest, quality-conscious and future-oriented as we approach the third generation of the company.
The Tombre group now consists of the companies Quatro Laks, Drageid Laks, Tombre Fiskeanlegg, Fjord Drift and Tombre FjordFarm. We are co-owners of Varde Fish Farm, Ænes Incubator, Hardanger Fish Processing, Samlaks, Vest Aqua Base, Environment & Sea Farms, Sævereid Fish Farm and Seaborn
